Trees

A strange day - very bright and clear in the morning and I had more or less made up my mind to go to Tollie in search of red kites. But cutting wood just before lunch we had some rain and the afternoon was mostly dull with slight showers so I got on with other things. For a short time some of the tree tops were lit by a low sun and really shone. Quite a few trees have already lost their leaves and we also have quite a few evergreens around.
