Confined to house even though the day was nice and bright as I was expecting a visit from the council tree man about our request to fell a large Wellingtonia. Very helpful and I think we may be getting somewhere - it's been hanging over us for a long time. Next step an independent assessor to climb the tree. I hope he doesn't fall but if he does and lands on the neighbour's car that will make our point. Or, depending where he falls, even if our other neighbour complains about the mess he's made in his garden. Anyway this flower in the garden isn't going to hurt anybody. One of the few blooms still left.
