Arena di Verona

The arena is a five minute walk from the hotel and can be seen from the rooftop bar. It was built in the 1st century A.D. and is the third largest in Italy.

There is an annual opera festival and the stage was being erected for the first performance on Friday. (Unfortunately we will be home by then).

There is also a great view of Piazza Bra where I managed to take a photo of some students taking some photos.
