Taking my Eye off the Ball

I was up very early today to complete the second and final BTO Breeding Birds Survey for this year. It was a mixed bag of sightings, with a pair of Jays causing havoc amongst a couple of families of Blackbirds and Nuthatches being the highlight. I didn’t take my camera as that would have been a distraction, but it was impossible not to notice several lots of fungi in the woodland section, so I grabbed a quick shot of these Oyster mushrooms with my phone. It’s been a long day ;-)
