Looking out

Tossing and turning last night, ended up with 6 hours sleep I think :-/

Had to be up and out pronto..ish, as I was off to see sis today. We had decided to go into Manchester for a change of scene.

When I got there sis was upstairs so I went straight in to be met by Kobi bounding up the hall, squeaker toy in mouth, sounding like Sweep!!! He was even more "full of beans" than usual, as he had just got back from K9 swimming, which as you know he just loves!!!

We drove into Manchester, parked in M&S, then took a walk round to the Cathedral to search out a little cafe/tearoom which I have been wanting to try......every time I see Beewriter mention it I think I must try it, it always sounds so nice!

Well today we were not disappointed. What a little gem of a place, thanks Bee :-)

Todays blip is the view from sitting inside, looking out, which is just lovely and the extra is of the inside. If you look closely you can see my sis, the morrocan chicken ciabatta, that we shared, likewise a slice of Scilian Lemon and Earl Grey layered sponge cake. Loved the artisan bread sandwich, but OMG, the cake was to die for!!!

Afterwards, we had a little clothes shopping expedition, before a quick call in M&S for a couple of food items, then back home to sis's for a quick drink before heading on home.

I have switched the blips around twice, originally the extra was my main blip, then vice versa, couldnt make up my mind!

A light tea of parma ham, olives, feta and tomatoes to come, pre quizzing!
Hope we perform better than last week!!
