Boo Tarn

I had just scrambled down to this stream on my bottom rather than fight through waist high bracken on a very steep escarpment which on reflection would have been the shorter route however my walking pole gets caught in the bracken and slows me down.  We were on the foothills of the Old Man of Coniston this evening with evidence of The Old Man slate quarries. Fantastic scenery. Oh what fun orienteering is
