Lytes Cary Manor

We're in Yeovil with my sister#3 and husband and staying in their delightful new home; a chalet bungalow. It's wonderful and they are very happy here! I could move here tomorrow.....

Lytes Cary Manor was created by the Lytes family over five centuries; the family home until financial difficulties forced them to give up the estate in the 18th century. After 150 years of neglect, the Jenner family acquired this piece of history and restored the Manor and transformed the gardens into the Arts and Crafts splendour seen today.

And there is even the offer of croquet on the lawn for guests of the two holiday lets, as in the extra. So civilised....

A lovely visit to this National Trust property this afternoon.
