Holehill Gardens and Windermere

A sunny day

We are planning n holiday for a week in the Lake District. Today we visited Holehill Gardens outside Windermere. They are built on a steep hill and there are great views over to the lake. One of the flowers which caught my eye was this Guzmania Lingulata.

Later, we went for a sail on the lake itself, taking in the many islands dotted around.
