Poppies

Its been one of those day...running around all day doing errands and not really getting my list of things to do ticked off. Added to that the painters arrived this morning to paint the ceilings that were ruined when we had a leak in  February - I had to leave them at home alone while I was out and about, just coming back at intervals to make them coffee and check they were doing okay.

I am now late for our last camera club meeting of the year (as it is run through the school it is held according to school terms). To finish off our food photography topic we are going to a pub where the chef has agreed to make a few dishes for us to photograph - in repayment for this favour he can get copies of any images that he likes for his website. We also are eating supper there after our shoot finishes.

And yes, I finally found some poppies today - not wild ones, they had been planted on the village green near the war memorial. It was very breezy today so it proved quite challenging to get photos of these as being so light they do blow about quite a bit.
