Little bit fly
This is Graphomya Maculata, a small fly and a female if I'm not mistaken. She was having a great time cleaning herself on a hydrangea in the front garden, while I was giving the bike yet another look over prior to this weekend's jaunt "oop north and beyond even that!™" Excited? Why do you ask?
Later we had dinner at Greg and Catherine's, along with Brendan and Sarah and their two lads. There is a rather fun fisheye group portrait on Greg's blip today.
Janet was double booked and arrived late but with a desert, which after eating three of Catherine's was an important challenge. Bakewell with apricots... Check the extra. I may be feeling ever so healthy now I've had several of my five a day's in the same meal.
