Football Fans

Croydon popped round late afternoon and ended up staying for tea and the England match. Asha loved the football, and having a friend over to watch it only made it more wonderful for her!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Recipe-free cake success! Asha and I made a cake out of many odds and ends and with no measuring or recipe - amazingly it turned out quite well! Grateful for time with Asha and cake to eat!
2) Croydon buying me salad cream - only one place on the island you can get it and I LOVE it...it reminds me of my Nanny who died many years ago...nicking chips from her and dipping them in salad cream.
3) The fun of the World Cup.

Note our landlord still hasn't removed this broken sofa!! Our red one is still flat-packed along our bedroom wall!!
