Thoroughly Spoilt

Fathers Day
I did get a small lie in, somewhat negated by going to bed late last night.
Scrambled eggs on toast with bacon for Sam and I plus a huge mug of filter coffee before I opened my cards and gifts.
Cards from Barry, Samantha and Joshua, Joshua’s came in the form of a potato with a message written on it using a sharpie, one of those laugh out loud moments.
Toblerone and a brilliant T shirt from Sam a book from Joshua, The Battle of the Atlantic has been on my radar for a while.
We then set off for Torpoint, my third trip this week, to see Sarah, Manolo, Luis and Anais.
More cards and gifts, a paella set from Sarah and Manolo, wine from Luis and Anais and a book for me to complete for Anais.
We had a carvery lunch at the Carbeile and very enjoyable it was to before going back to Sarah’s for cakes made by Anais and coffee.
Sam and I left for home around 6:16 arriving back in Falmouth at 8:30.
A great day with my two daughters and Sarah’s family, thoroughly spoilt I’m off to bed, tired and happy.
