Happy Father’s ‘Gardening’ Day

My dad. My hero. Fixed a broken light and spent two hours burning garden rubbish while Mum and I pruned the rose bushes and repotted plants.

I made sure Dad got Father’s Day treats with a scone and jam, Kentish strawberries and nautical themed gifts as well as the compulsory beers and a bar of fruit and nut to take home.

Planning a family visit to the Dockyard soon when my brother is free to join us. Shame he’s on night work this week, we missed him today. Family time is so special and I always look forward to our next time together especially after a tough week like this one.
