River Festival

A marvellous maritime melody was had by all at The Historic Dockyard Chatham yesterday for the River Festival event organised by Medway Council.

I spent the day mostly waving at passing ships, talking boats, jet skis, big fluffy dogs and the 400th anniversary of the Dockyard.

It was such a pleasure working with the events ‘A-team’ and ever-smiling Dockyard Marshalls. The weather was glorious, if a little breezy, and boy what a great crowd!
