Blue Jay

This is another regular yard visitor.  As I Iook out the window there are two again now.  They are quite high in the pecking order, but even they scattered yesterday when I spotted a hawk.
My mother-in-law, son, daughter-in-law, and their Corgi, Garbanzo, were here for lunch to celebrate Father's Day.  I was happy to have a reason to make a dessert, since I bought sweet, delicious strawberries at a farmers market yesterday.  I made biscuits for shortcake for the first time.  I don't know why I've been intimidated by homemade biscuits.  It really was quite easy.
