Love At Longstock

.... in the form of these two damselflies who were happily occupied whilst I was taking their photo! :)

I had a great day out with the camera club today. We visited Mottisfont (National Trust), ate a yummy lunch in a farm shop and then went on to Longstock Water Gardens. What a contrast between the two places! Mottisfont was heaving with people because the world and his wife had turned up to look at the rose gardens! Longstock, on the other hand, is not generally open to the public and we were visiting by special arrangement. What a beautiful and tranquil place..... We were there just under two hours but I could have spent much long, simply enjoying the peace and the beautiful surroundings.....
