Wrinkly (Day 1135)
The wind woke me this morning. I lay in bed a while, listening to a sound which has become unfamiliar of late. Having listened for too long, I got myself organised and had a breezy wander up the hill with the dogs. The first walk for a while I have felt the need to wear a jacket.
Back at home I did a bit of paperwork before my beautiful wife returned from work and we trundled off to see Ej. I had a couple of little plumbing jobs to do there, and HV and Ej put the world to rights whilst I wrangled pipes and fiddled with spanners.
The weather worsened and it was raining when we took the woofers out after lunch. The gale blowing up the Lyde Road made conversation impossible and hurled stinging rain at us.
A bit more paperwork and coffee later in the afternoon, and a decision made to head to town for a curry. It seems like a remarkably good plan.
