WideAngle Wednesday: Colours
I'm on an awayday to London - to attend a meeting to interview applicants for a generous travel award to go abroad to learn new treatment techniques in treating eye disease and to undertake research projects.(One of the few work-related tasks I still undertake following my retirement from active ophthalmic practice 5 years ago.) 4 applicants were shortlisted, all with very good plans so it was a tricky choice.
I had a couple of free hours so I went on a wander with my camera. Naturally I wanted a wideangle photo for today's challenge - and found this rather colourful bank building just across the road from Kings Cross station. (Note: other banks are available).
(Thanks as always to Bobsblips for looking after Widwed and steveng for hosting in his absence.)
I decided to try to get a set of photos of London buildings from slightly odd angles. Some of these photos were contenders for today's blip choice. If you like, take a peek at my flickr album of the day, here. As you'll realise, I had fun - lots of it with my fisheye lens.
