Ready to open

Believe it or not, this is actually in Dubai. I can't remember ever seeing a water lily here before, so this is unique and worthy of a blip. We actually made it to the Last Exit (D89) today while there was still some light, so I had the chance to get pictures at dusk. There are a few extras to tell a bit more of the story.

We took our friends out, mainly to celebrate a birthday. The weather was extremely kind to us. We had a pleasant breeze rather than the sticky evenings of late, so much so, that we ate outside and chatted the evening away! We all opted for burgers and some of us even had milkshakes, resulting in feeling extremely full by the end of the evening!

Prior to that, G had a short day at school, so we were able to return an England football shirt to Carrefour, get to Peugeot and swap a cheque for a card payment, and last but not least, bring the Volvo home! Finally. It's been away for three weeks, mostly just awaiting a part.
