Thunder, what thunder? Fortunately it didn't happen and it has been another day of scorching heat. Although a bit too hot for walking, the narrow Italian style streets afforded some welcome shade here in Pula. The extras are:

3. First century amphitheatre known as the Arena. This 3 storey oval was designed to seat 23000 spectators and is the sixth largest surviving building of its kind in the world!
