Lunch during our first day on the road. Benson AZ. Despite the location McDonald’s beef is from a date more recent than the Jurassic Period. Tough day, saying good bye to Goat and Wee G. We have never really been apart, except for Goat’s first year in AZ, before we moved out there ourselves. Hunkered down in a motel in El Paso, Tx for the night. Off early doors for San Antonio. Should be our longest day. By all accounts, the terrain gets more interesting once West Texas is in the rear view.
