A shopping day

All the cross trainers were in use, except for a broken one. Not actually broken - just with the screen stuff not working. No worries for me - I had my phone for music and a timer.

We have been thinking of changes to our bathroom, and today we popped down to a bathroom shop in the West End. Lots of lovely stuff, and they will do everything - drawings, planning permissions if needed, installing. Great!

We popped into a great cafe too, and had good coffee, and a banana cake with poached apricots on top. Good music too.

JR was so enthused after our visit, she wanted to keep on.shopping, so she popped off to her favourite shop to buy a new iPad (her old - ie, my even older, one - died) and she got me an early birthday present - Apple ear pods! Those heavy hints over the last few months worked.

Our shed is rather ramshackle, especially the grotty old roof, but we (actually, JR) suddenly had the solution - Astro turf!! It is only sold in 4 metre rolls, and so we now have two sheds with nice green grassy roofs! Archie was impressed.
