Exquisite...

This fragile wee beauty was found amongst the weeds down our driveway. Think it is the flower of a ground cover plant placed when we first moved into our present abode but could not find the mother plant for the invading weeds. Does not detract from it's exquisiteness.

Ans what are the heart shaped objects on it's petals...seeds?/critter?
