Processions
Today we took part in a public art event called Processions, to celebrate 100 years of women having the vote. It was a lovely day, really well organised with a great atmosphere and marvellous weather. The women involved were each given a green, white or purple scarf to wear and paraded through the streets of Edinburgh in lines of the three colours, like the sashes that Suffragettes wore. There were thousands of women involved, with many more onlookers cheering us on.
