The Birthday Girl

Lily, my youngest Grandaughter is 8 today. She had a 'party in the park' at Ferry Meadows just outside Peterborough with 10 of her best mates, parents and family. The weather was kind and the venue ideal for children to run around, play games, fly kites, and generally have lots of fun. We were glad when 5 o'clock came and a semblance of peace returned!!

After a brief lull many of us together with the Birthday girl of course ended the day in a delightful Italian Restaurant where there was yet another cake and another round of Happy Birthday sung by all in the Restaurant.

There is one very tired little girl now but she's had a great day.
