Birthday Girl - Backblip

The day has dawned - a 7 year old's birthday and for Lily it's a very, very important day!  A very early start to the day.  Breakfast consisted of not much breakfast but much present opening and a reluctance to go to school, but we did manage to get her there on time.  Her Mum and I had a lovely morning together, some retail therapy, coffee and lots of chat, then back to Lily's school to join her for lunch in the very noisy dining room - a tradition on a child's Birthday to have no more than two guests to join them for lunch.  I got a sticker for eating all my dinner!  In the evening we were joined by more of S-in-L's family for a celebratory dinner at Antonio's Italian Restaurant;  super food and a Birthday cake for Lily.

Feeling quite tired now, and then there's the official Birthday party tomorrow.
