Firenze and the Macchine

We were warned there would be transport strikes today so instead of exploring Lucca by bus and train we drove there. This shot is of the Piazza dell Anfiteatro where we had lunch. Extra is , well just Italy!
Now near Arezzo, having got held up in a massive traffic jam near Florence. There is yet another thunderstorm and downpour this evening.
Maybe we should have gone to Keswick where I gather it is scorching hot!
