Look at the wonderful view!
I spotted this group of walkers at lunchtime today as they neared Caw Gap on the Hadrian's Wall Trail. To the south, the land was bathed in sunlight, but to the north there was a wall of mist. The views from here to the north are usually glorious with a sense that you can see for ever (or at least to Scotland).
If you enlarge the image you will see that the wall farther away is indeed Hadrian's, whilst the nearer one is more modern field boundary. Ahead of the walkers, off the right of the image, is a wall of mist they have to walk through on the Trail! I bet they enjoyed the sunny bits.
Festival Committee this morning when the programme for next Spring was nearly finalized. Hard work and we had to stop for coffee when tempers were in danger of becoming frayed. Delighted with progress so far.
Had right shoulder injected this afternoon - hope is settles the nagging pains. Anno domini!
