Funny old moon

The sky was beautiful this evening. It was gold where the sun was setting, but pink and pale blue in the opposite direction. The sky is very clear and the moon bright.

The sun was lighting the birch tree as you see and the moon shining through the branches. It was only when I came to process the image that I realised the moon is a rather dumpy shape at the moment. Can't be helped!
