Central Rib

A beautiful evening tonight, back at the gorge tonight getting in some trad multi-pitch. I led the last of three pitches, which was 25 metres (VS 4b for those in the know). The pitch was a bit run out and involved a traverse under an overhang but well within my ability, I really enjoyed it! It was especially good topping out where people were having a picnic on the edge of the gorge, I think they were a bit surprised when I emerged over the edge!

It feels good to be learning trad and all the logistics/rope work that comes with it, it's something I've by I've wanted to do for a long time so keen for more. Pretty lucky to have a massive gorge right on my doorstep!
