A handsome couple

These two Canada Geese were having a break from nursery duties this morning. The goslings are growing quickly and although they are quite independent they still like to snuggle up together in 'rest hour'.

Another stunning day .... I tried to sit out for a time this afternoon but after a chat with my neighbour I just had to come back inside and leave the gardening till later on. I've been out with the hose giving the poor plants a much needed drink.
