The humphy-backit heron

Rain, rain go away ..... we have had enough of the wet stuff and puddles are starting to form on the earth in my garden.

Not a day for walking but I did nip into Maxwell Park on my way home from our Tuesday morning badminton.

I spotted the heron immediately and keeping the camera inside my jacket until the last moment I walked as close as I could before whipping out the camera and taking a couple of shots. It was so wet I couldn't risk taking any more pics.
