Ha Gorge and Agios Panteleimon Beach

We drove to Ha Gorge, Crete, at Monastiraki to do a short walk as it was very hot. After a mile walk to the Gorge Mouth it was obvious you needed some climbing gear to get in but the Old church infront made for a lovely photo and typical Greek scene (see extra).

On the way back we stopped at Agios Panteleimon Beach a few miles along the coast eastwards from Agios Nikolaos (North Coast)  for a swim. The beach was beautiful and very quiet. The panoramic view  (in camera joined photo’s) shows the stunning light and scenery so typical of the Mediterannean.
