Journey back from Lincoln was through masses of rain and wind, but we left the city in fine weather if a little cold.
G has only another five weeks left of this term and she's popping back for Emma's birthday in a few week anyway (E doesn't know that though), plus three of her old friends are descending on Lincoln in a short while from universities across England so that they can see a concert together. Funny how my life never seems so exciting at the age. Well any age actually. ;)
Wish I could claim to have taken this photo originally (some of it is probably montaged), but I snapped it on the hoarding around the base of the west wing of the cathedral where there is some work going on). The Red Arrows are based just three miles to the north of the city at RAF Scampton and can regularly be seen in the distance.
