Shattered

Such was the scale of the day, by the end of it, the kids were begging to go to bed.  In fact the wee man shed a few tears in the car back to Edinburgh, saying that he wanted to go to sleep but couldn’t close his eyes.  Meanwhile, his sister said that she wanted to stay with Grandma. 
 
That’s what a weekend of treats gets you!
 
We started off by playing at Grandma’s house before driving over to Clifton Park near Rotherham.  There, we played another round of crazy golf (the wee man’s favourite pastime), and rode a number of fairground rides.  That was followed up by ice-cream and an hour long playdate with his cousins, April and Will.
 
Finally, around 6:30pm, we hit the road, snacking our way home.
