Doomsday
We popped down to Lincoln last night to give the kids a treat and let Nikki start getting ready for her impending trip to Australia.
Grandma was keen to show the kids the series of Knights that are scattered around Lincoln, as well as take them up on the castle walls. While there we decided to take a look at the Doomsday Book, which was on temporary exhibit.
As you can probably expect, it was stored in a very dark room. A room so dark that the kids were a little frightened. So, with the little lady bordering on tears, I decided to take her out, with her whispering "I don't like the people in the dark".
Once outside, she kept repeating "I don't like dark people". Even when we met Great Grandma Kitty, the first thing she said was "Dark people are scary". By the time we met one of Grandma's friends, it has evolved into "Dark people live at misery land. I don't like them", by which I assume she was referring to the Doomsday Book.
What a beautiful, politically correct daughter we're raising...
