Black-headed gull

Yes, well why would you not go to the coast on a day like today.  I think the whole world was there.  It was too hot to do much walking, instead I had a hilarious time with an egg and cress sandwich, tempting the gulls and ducks, then trying to get pictures of them.  Actually, it was almost a disaster, with the oozy egg mayo getting on my fingers as I broke off pieces, then not enough time to lick it off before picking up the camera.  They are so fast, those gulls, almost as soon as you've thrown the stuff into the water it's gone.

Next time I think I should get less ambitious and just give them plain bread!
