The Pool Party.

Today my great grandson is 4 years old. He had a 'heated' pool party at his paternal grandparents house. Lots of little ones , some of whom were good swimmers and others were wearing lifejackets or arm bands. Lots of mums and dads keeping an eye on them. Then a barbecue and drinks and for those with any energy left, a bouncy castle  ( well secured ) Later the birthday boy handed out some party bags of sweets, I asked where mine was. His reply was, "Well, I'm 4, but you are....erm...9 so you can't have one !" I got a big hug instead which was much better than a bag of sweets.
