Sinking Sun

The forecast was extreme weather conditions, with hail and sleet, so I stayed home today. We had a little rain this afternoon and that's all !  A grey day except for the sun bursting through the cloudy sky as it sunk in the west. I have slightly saturated and contrasted this shot. Today is great grandson George's 3rd birthday and he will be coming for lunch on Sunday with his sister and parents. I look forward to seeing them.
