Rain stops play (again )........

A morning spent doing various jobs ,including tagging a couple of calves. Managed to get all the cows and calves in by following a bag of feed- all except the one I needed to tag! In the end it was a 2 quad bike rally,but we got there.
Alister turned up with the sprayer to have another go at spraying the spring barley after getting rained off yesterday. this time he managed once round the field and a couple more runs up and down before the thunder and rain started again. The curse of Crop Chemicals remains, even after they have been bought up by Agrii.You can guarantee when ever they turn up it rains!
My other contractor pal dropped in for his coffee to discuss the plans for cutting silage. Reckon it will be at least another 3-4 weeks yet.
A trip down the road to feed cattle tonight resulted in another soaking - I'm running out of dry hats at this rate ! Roll on summer.
