Galesyke garden, Wasdale

We went to Galesyke garden,  Wasdale today...

4 acres right next to the Wasdale screes, with the river Irt running through it.

Ros and Chloe are on the mini suspension bridge that crosses the river.

Look how the clematis montana has covered the bridge!

An impressive collection of rhododendrons and azaleas too...

And they were serving tea with homemade scones and jam!!!
