The Crystal Ball
His Lordship and I feel we are in the middle of a music festival without the need of Hunter wellies, a pop up tent and some Ecstasy tablets.
It is of course the annual Meadows Festival, happening over the railings from the Dower House with the main music tent about 100yards away. It is slightly angled so that the music is not exactly full frontal, and with the doors shut, it is muted.
We wandered round the stalls licking ice creams, and wondered at the size of the crowds out in force with the warm weather. On several occasions it looked as though we might have thundery rain, but so far so good.
Before that, we were delighted to be hailed from the other side of the railings by lapsed blippers JoppaStrand and Tiggy far from their happy hunting grounds at the seaside. We have become firm friends through Blipfoto and had it not been for it, we would never have met. Credit where credit’s due!
