Dent
Sixteen and a quarter miles, this morning. I went out at half-eight but it was already warm and by the time I'd done six miles, I was wondering whether I'd even complete a half-marathon. But I did the full distance, taking in a new, lovely bridleway between the Old Scotch Road and Kitridding.
Lord, but I was done in by the time I got home. I was too tired to even stretch (which I really regretted later on).
In the afternoon, Dan, Abi, and I went across to Dent. It was such a beautiful day and we were all keen to get out. We had a little walk through the town, took a footpath back through the fields to the bridge, and thence to a little tea-room, where I had a gorgeous slice of 'New York cheesecake'.
