Pristine Peony

.......photobombed by an ant!!!!

We were quizzing last night, failed to make it three wins in a row, fourth place :-/ but on a positive note we did win a bottle of win ;-)

Slept like logs, finally, we were so tired after a few disturbed nights, so much more refreshed this morning.

We had breakfast in the garden, before going in search of a 30" liner for one of our window boxes, got the last one from a garden centre last week, but needed two! None to be had at the garden centre, so called in B&Q, none there either......ended up making do with two small ones squished together!

We stopped at another farm shop on the way home for a coffee and a sandwich. We bought one or two things, including another couple of trailing fuchsias, homemade salad dressing, asparagus etc.

Then back home to tend to laundry and one or teo other chores, before daughter came round for a few hours.

We sat on the deck chatting, its been so warm and sultry, we put the parasol up for some shade! I disappeared indoors to make dinnner, chicken skewers with a huge salad :-)

Just as we had finished dinner the heavens opened.....a mad dash to retrieve the dry laundry, resulted in wet people :-)

Luckily for me I bagged my blip this morning.
Took various shots around the garden. This peony was the first one, I didn't see the ant until I'd uploaded! Big thanks as always to A for continuing to host Flower Friday :-)

The rain only lasted an hour, its dry again now!
We really have been lucky in the northwest, hardly any rain at all in the last 3/4 weeks, unheard of!!!!
