The Log Man has been, next winter's fuel is stacked in the wood store.   

Just as well he came when he did.  Torrents of rain fell this afternoon.  I got caught in it just as I came out of Kelso Town Hall where I'd been to see the Camera Club's exhibition. It was good, and the members friendly. I think I might go along when it starts up again in September.

The garden needs rain, so I hope it keeps on falling for the rest of the night. But the lilac rhoddie in the picture is a sodden wreck now. :-(
