I'm not quite sure how old this summer house is. I moved into this house in 2000, so it's certainly less than twenty years since my brother bought it as a present for my older daughters. It must have been around the time Dan and Abi were born, so it was a present for them, too, but it's the girls I remember playing in it. I bought a small table and chairs for it and a bean bag, as well, and put some old carpet down on the floor.

It's been a long time since anyone played in it, though, and now it's just got a few old bits and pieces in it. I thought about renovating it a few years ago but that opportunity has passed; it's just falling to bits now. Which means I need to hire a skip and dismantle it, and then, more excitingly, think about what to put there.
