Atmospheric

No Sunday ride this week. At my house the air is just a tad damp. Instead I head down to the bike shop to get some new mudguards for the commute bike. It feels pretty cold as well, my coat is zipped up to to the top. After coffee, I remove the old rear mudguard ad check over the road bike.

By lunchtime, the clouds have lifted a little, the roads are drying up. The washing is hung out to dry.

In the afternoon, its down to Morningside with my partner to visit the charity shops. It is still cold. I look on Facebook, and I see that in the Borders it is nice. Here, the castle seems to be part of a massive disappearance act. The haar hides it, then occasionally, it reappears.

We get home, the washing is damp. The weather never improved. Perhaps a bike ride south would have been a good idea. Not to woryy, I still have some work to do on the commute bike, and it needed new mudguards any way. I can finish that tomorrow.
