"Muslined Lattice"

We spotted this moth in a similar position the other day but that was earlier in Ollie's training as a photo assistant. She spooked it. I stretched out on the wet ground to capture it today and she joined me. I've photographed these a couple of times before, I'm fond of them as they hold their muslin at a latticed casement wings like a butterfly.


We heard robin fledglings cheeping and I hoped to photograph them but their parents had other ideas. The chicks went quiet and the parents harried us. I've added a bedraggled and wet one to extras.
