A missing castle.

I left Argyll in bright sunshine at 5.30 this morning - if I spend Monday night in the constituency I need to be away on Tuesday at that time to get to Bute House for Cabinet on time.

It was bright sunshine in Glendaruel but in the city the haar was thick, chilly and damp. This is taken from outside Waverley Station looking towards New College. The castle, which should dominate the scene, isn’t even visible.

It did clear in mid afternoon, though , leaving a lovely evening for a trip to speak about Brexit to a very well attended meeting of East Lothian SNP.
