I was wandering the front yard (garden) this morning in search of a blip and when I turned back toward the house I noticed my clematis had bloomed.  It's planted right beside the front door as it does best with shade on the bottom and full sun on top.  For some reason, I'm often intrigued and prefer photographing the back or underside of a flower.  This clematis was beautifully illuminated and showed off the munching around the edges of the petals.  Not sure what's been eating it but it looks like they enjoyed it. ;)
